Meeting Schedule

The Torch Club members and guests meet for lunch, September through May, then close the year with an informal picnic in June. There are no summer meetings.

Our club enjoys welcoming guests. Members often invite guests but a member invitation is not required. We encourage individuals from the community to join us for dining and conversation.  It's the best way to decide about joining us as a Torch member.

Lunch and Meeting Site

Frederick Torch Club moved all events beginning February 2023 to Dutch's Daughter, a popular and upscale place to meet and dine.

Torch lunches are served buffet style. Seating is at round tables, usually set for eight, occasionally for six. A typical menu usually includes chicken or beef, vegetables, salad, breads, pasta, potatoes or rice. Coffee and tea are always available.
